Death toll from earthquakes rises to 45,968 in Türkiye

The death toll from powerful earthquakes that hit southern Türkiye on February 6 has risen to 45,968, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said on Saturday.
Soylu also said more than 13 million people in Türkiye have been affected by the quakes, and more than 13,000 aftershocks have been recorded since February 6.
