A suicide bomb blast killed nine policemen and injured at least 13 people in Balochistan, southwestern Pakistan on Monday, local media outlet Dawn reported.
The incident happened in the Bolan district where a truck of paramilitary troops from Balochistan Constabulary was attacked at the border area with Sibi district, District Police Officer of Sibi Yousuf Karim Bhanghar told the media.
The nature of the explosion has yet been determined, and the area has been cordoned off for investigations, he said.
The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital where several of them are in critical condition, he added.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
