Shan Zenghai, a National People's Congress deputy and chief engineer of the Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co. (XCMG), said the group has grown from obscurity to rank among the top three in the world in its field, with its lifting equipment at number one. He said the group is expanding on a high-quality development path. The elevated status of XCMG's machinery is reflected by its use in the hugely popular domestically made movie "The Wandering Earth Ⅱ."
