Russia claims control of almost half of Bakhmut

Russia claimed control of almost half of Bakhmut, Russian news agency TASS reported on Tuesday, citing Russian defense chief.
The "liberation" of Bakhmut continues, and taking the city under control will allow an offensive deep into the defense of the Ukrainian troops, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was quoted as saying.
Ukraine has not responded to the claim yet.
