In an interview with CGTN host Tian Wei during the ongoing 2023 Two Sessions, Lawrence Ho, member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and an entrepreneur with businesses in Macao, said the GDP growth target of 5 percent is a practical one, given the uncertainties and volatility in the world. He expressed confidence that Macao would play its role as a key tourism center and realize its potential with some direction and push from the central government.
