Two people were killed and several others injured on Tuesday in a train accident north of Cairo, the Egyptian Health Ministry said. The national rail authority said the accident occurred when a passenger train entering the Qalyub station went through a stop signal. "That led to the derailment of the locomotive and the first carriage," it stated.
