Soldiers make rope out of uniforms to save man trapped in frozen river in NE China

A group of soldiers used a rope made out of their uniforms to rescue a villager trapped in a frozen river in northeast China's Changchun City on March 4. Video shows a man in the river and two soldiers trying to use sticks to open a route in ice. After that, a soldier threw the makeshift rope to the man and pulled him out of the river with the help of three other soldiers. The man, who sustained minor injuries, was sent to hospital.
