Many foreign expats live in China, yet few of them speak fluent Chinese and can draw on a large reservoir of Chinese idioms. Noah Hocker is a jazz trumpet musician from the United States who performs in Beijing and across China.
After only three and a half years in Beijing, Noah became a fluent speaker of the language and earned a well-known nickname among Chinese jazz circles.
