How does digital economy help restore world economy?

Following Covid, the global economy faces several challenges, and people are looking for a key to help the global economy recover. Industrial digitization comes into the spotlight and becomes one of the pathways to providing a new driving force for development. 

Despite COVID-19 and the global economic downturn, the scale of the digital economy of 47 countries in the world reaches $38 trillion, with a year-on-year increase of 15%, accounting for 45% of total GDP, will the digital economy become one of the main pathways to help us restore the world economy? Tom Mitchell, the Founders University Professor at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and  Zhang Yunyong, Secretary of the Party Committee of China Unicom Yunnan Branch, Expert on special allowance of the State Council and Member of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, gives us answers.
