Chaobai National Wetland Park, occupying over 5,500 hectares (13,590 acres), is home to 114 species of wild plants and 286 different kinds of wild animals.
As a crucial pit-stop for migratory waterbirds on the East Asia-Australia Flyway, this wetland park offers a comfortable environment and ample food for thousands of such birds each year. It is also a haven for herons and egrets, with these elegant wading birds making this their home for about six months for breeding.

The park welcomes around 2,000 visitors every day, serving as a top spot for local residents to unwind and take some exercise.
A large exhibition hall has been set up in the park, displaying the species of wild creatures that can be found there, bird migration routes, and the achievements made in terms of wetland protection.
