Spying tools or symptoms of paranoia?

Some U.S. officials suspect that the China-made cargo cranes operating at U.S. ports are being used for spying. Recently, an unmanned civilian airship was also labeled as a spying tool and shot down. As Washington's paranoia over China worsens, Huawei, Confucius Institutes, unmanned airships, and even cargo cranes are all regarded, in its imagination, as China's espionage tools. Instead of suspecting China, the U.S. would do much better to get adequate therapy for its excessive paranoia.
