Iranian Scholar Mohammad Marandi thinks Washington's response to Iran-Saudi Arabia reconciliation shows "the Americans really don't want peace and stability," instead their intervention in the Middle East was the root of many wars. And it's time to let "this region belong to the people of this region." He adds that as the U.S. declines, there's greater chance for countries to reestablish ties.
