Team China pocketed one gold and one silver on the final day of the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships at Mokdong Ice Rink in Seoul, South Korea, on Sunday.
Lin Xiaojun, Li Wenlong, Zhong Yuchen and Liu Guanyi finished the men's 5,000m relay final in 7:04.412, defeating both Italy (7:04.484) and South Korea (7:04.884) and winning the first gold medal for China in the tournament.
Earlier on Sunday, Lin and Li were joined by Gong Li and Zang Yize to finish the mixed 2,000m relay race in 2:41.821, beating the Italian team (2:41.907) to secure the silver medal. The Netherlands won the gold medal in the event after clocking a time of 2:41.646.

The Netherlands won five golds, one silver and two bronzes after three days of competitions. They swept all four of the women's golds in the 500m, 1,000m, 1,500m and 3,000m relay races and won the mixed 2,000-meter relay final.
Home star Park Ji-won won the men's 1,000m and 1,500m titles for South Korea. Pietro Sighel added the only gold for Italy in the men's 500m event.
South Korea was originally supposed to host the World Championships in 2020, but was canceled because of COVID-19.
