The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said it test-fired "two strategic cruise missiles" from a submarine in waters off its east coast on Sunday, according to the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
The test comes as a joint South Korea-U.S. military exercise is set to begin this week.
