The European Council renewed sanctions against "those responsible for undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine until 15 September 2023," according to a statement released on Monday.

Sanctions will continue to apply to 1,473 individuals and 205 entities, with many targeted in response to Russia's special military operation in Ukraine.
