The City of Zhongwei in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region will build 14 more data centers by the end of 2023, according to mayor Ma Honghai, who is also a deputy to the National People's Congress. The local government hopes to spur quality growth by channelling computing resources from the more developed eastern provinces.
