Laoniu Bay is a big bend in the Yellow River at the intersection of northern China's Shanxi Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With temperatures going up recently, this stretch of the Yellow River has begun to melt, welcoming hundreds of wild swans as they make their way further north. With the Loess Plateau as its backdrop, Laoniu Bay is one of the most beautiful canyons in China.
