China will strive to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Monday.
China's development benefits the world, and China cannot develop itself in isolation from the world, Xi said while addressing the closing meeting of the first session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature.
China will work to promote high-level opening up, Xi said, adding that it will not only be making good use of the global market and resources to develop, but also promote the common development of the world.
