The ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter Array) radio telescope, the world's largest, is celebrating its tenth anniversary on March 13. It is located at an altitude of 5,000 meters in Chile's Atacama Desert. It is a state-of-the-art telescope to study light from some of the coldest objects in the universe.
