Ten workers trapped in a coal mine in central Colombia were found dead, bringing the death toll from an explosion in the pit to 21, President Gustavo Petro said Thursday.
The accident in the municipality of Sutatausa occurred Tuesday night due to an accumulation of gases that exploded after a worker's tool caused a spark.
Eleven people were found dead on Wednesday in the mine.
