Saudi-Iran deal brokered by China seen as opportunity for Yemen: Chinese envoy

The China-brokered agreement between Saudi Arabia and Iran on restoring diplomatic relations is expected to create favorable conditions for resolving the conflict in Yemen, said Geng Shuang, China's deputy permanent representative to the UN, in his briefing to the Security Council on Wednesday. He said China is willing to join hands with the international community to make unremitting efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East.
