China, Pakistan ready to boost bilateral cooperation

China and Pakistan on Friday pledged to boost bilateral cooperation as Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang met with Pakistani Foreign Secretary Asad Majeed Khan in Beijing.

In the meeting, Qin said the iron-clad friendship between China and Pakistan has stood the test of time and international changes.

China is ready to work with Pakistan to advance friendly cooperation and promote the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and all-round cooperation between the two countries for greater progress, he said.

Majeed said the Pakistani side sees the relations with China as its most important bilateral relationship, and it is committed to the one-China policy.

Pakistan is willing to deepen cooperation with China in various fields and strengthen coordination and cooperation in international, regional affairs to consolidate the Pakistan-China all-weather strategic partnership, he said.
