A foreign cargo ship with 21 crew on board has been towed to safety more than 10 days after malfunctioning off the Nansha Islands on March 3, according to the Ministry of Transport's Nanhai Rescue Bureau on Tuesday.
The bureau added that the rescue took place in the southernmost part of the South China Sea and was the longest towed voyage on record.
