Ceramic industries operate at full capacity in N China

This ceramic factory in Huairen, Shanxi Province has been busy. The company's head says production capacity has resumed to pre-COVID levels. It produces around 200,000 pieces of ceramics per day to meet rising demands. Huairen has been producing ceramics for more than 1,000 years. Today, 3.5 billion pieces of ceramics for everyday use are produced in the city annually by more than 50 businesses, accounting for one-third of the market in the country.
