The cooperation between China and Pakistan under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), covering energy, infrastructure construction and industry, has greatly contributed to the development of Pakistan and will play an important role in regional development, said Pakistani President Arif Alvi in an exclusive interview with China Media Group (CMG).
Recalling that Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed building a China-Pakistan Community of Shared Destiny in 2015 when he paid a visit to Pakistan, Alvi noted that the two countries have since achieved positive progress in various areas of cooperation under the CPEC framework.
