The Guancen Mountain is located in Ningwu County, north China's Shanxi Province, which is home to 55,000 hectares of primitive forest, mainly spruce and larch trees. More than 560 plant species and 150 animal species can be found on the mountain. The place has been declared a national forest park and one of China's top eight natural reserves for birds.
