At least five people were killed after a boat capsized in southern Ghana's Lake Volta on Saturday morning, local authorities have confirmed.
Daniel Adzakpa, an Azizakpe Electoral Area assembly member, said that the boat capsized in a strong storm as it was carrying about 25 passengers from Azizanya to Azizakpe, near Ada in the Greater Accra Region.
