The Village Basketball Association (VBA) tournament was held in Majiang County, Guizhou Province in southwest China between March 13 to 17, attracting throngs of local fans and tourists against the backdrop of blooming rapeseed. The competition was part of the county's efforts to boost local tourism. Twelve teams competed for the championship title.
