Built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, this 380-meter-long street is one of the oldest roads in the city featuring architectural styles spanning several dynasties. It has been considered a landmark for old memories for over 400 years.

Saishang Old Street has been renovated over the past two years, and most of the shops on the street are brick and wooden buildings featuring the architectural styles of the Ming and Qing dynasties. They not only highlight the simplicity and elegance of these traditional architectural styles, but also provide infrastructure for modern-day tourism.

Everything from local cuisine, souvenirs, handicrafts, clothes, dairy products and beef and mutton products, to antique calligraphy and paintings, jade, jewelry, time-honored brands, and anything else related to ethnic culture can all be found here. The street takes on another vibe when it welcomes the public at night. Tourists can stroll through the night market while tasting local delicacies, and enjoy a leisurely time.
