British politician: The Iraq War is a terrible mistake

Many of U.S. allies played a role in the Iraq War, and the UK was one of them. Though hundreds of thousands protested the country's involvement, the then-Prime Minister Tony Blair did not change his course. Clare Short is a retired British politician who served as Secretary of State for International Development under Former Prime Minister Tony Blair from 1997 to 2003. In an interview with CGTN, she said the war was a terrible mistake.
