Ten years ago, President Xi Jinping proposed forging a community with a shared future for mankind. In its 10th anniversary, the concept of a shared future is being revisited by more countries and more serious scholars from the West. But can this concept prevail when we are used to the concept of progress through competition? And how can different players contribute? For this, our program The Hub invited Erik Solheim, convener of the BRIGC Advisory Committee and former UN under-secretary-general; John Ross, senior fellow at the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies and former director of economic and business policy for the mayor of London, UK; Ciprian Farkas, mayor of Sopron, Hungary; and Joy Chen, CEO of Multicultural Leadership Institute and former deputy mayor of Los Angeles, the U.S. to share their ideas and thoughts on "one world, shared future."
