At the invitation of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, Chinese President Xi Jinping is paying a state visit to Russia from March 20 to 22. CGTN Stringer took to the streets of Beijing to talk with people about their impressions of Russia and give answers to some burning questions from Russian netizens. Many Chinese residents, either having visited Russia or planning to visit, were deeply impressed by Russian cuisine, architecture and art. "I've been to Russia. I've been to Russia's capital Moscow and St. Petersburg. I have a very good impression of Moscow," An interviewee said. He recommended traditional Chinese activities, such as temple fairs during the Spring Festival, to Russians who want to visit China and experience Chinese culture.
