During China's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic over the past three years, many foreigners living in the country also contributed to the effort. One of them is Jacob Von Bisterfeld, who became a volunteer to help the neighborhood last year during the COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai. CGTN reporter Wu Bin interviewed him online about a year ago and was invited to his house recently to participate in a language salon.
