At least 25 people including five children were killed and 10 others injured in Nigeria's Bauchi State after a bus crashed on Thursday afternoon.
Local media said the driver of the bus lost control along Hadeja-Potiskum road in Gamawa and ran into 11 people who are taking shelter under a tree close to a car wash.
The crash was caused by overloading and speed violation, which led to a tire burst and loss of control, Nigerian daily newspaper Punch said.
