A Chinese-made system for recovering carrier rocket boosters and payload fairings has entered its final stage of development, marking new progress in the domestic spacecraft recovery technology.

The system was demonstrated at the third Innovation and Creativity Competition sponsored by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), which opened on March 23 in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province.
