Two migrants died and at least a dozen more were injured after becoming trapped in a train car in Uvalde County, Texas, police said on Friday, according to ABC News.
Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin said that a total of 17 people were trapped in the container. Two are deceased, five went by Life Flight to San Antonio and another seven were transported in ambulances. Three migrants are "okay," the mayor said.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating at the scene.
