The Second International Forum on Democracy wrapped up in Beijing on Thursday. Speakers at the two-day forum on democracy, shared a consensus, as they agreed that true democracy is characterized by dialogue, mutual respect and learning. They also stressed the necessity of the coexistence of different systems in a community committed to a shared future for all people.
