China recently released a report entitled "The State of Democracy in the United States: 2022," where it criticizes the U.S. administration for framing a narrative of "democracy versus authoritarianism" and labels countries as "autocracies" with a view to using ideology and values as a tool to suppress other countries and advance its own geo-strategy under the disguise of democracy. Dr. Yonas Adaye Adeto, director of the Institute for Peace and Security Studies at Addis Ababa University, states that it's natural that we are different, that difference is not enmity. "You don't have to like me, but we can respect each other." No one can truly say who is democratic or not, and it's "the people themselves, each kind of each country."
