A freight train loaded with 55 containers departed from Dingxi City in northwest China's Gansu Province on Saturday, bound for the Khorgos Port in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Its final destination will be Kostanay, Kazakhstan, about nine days and 5,170 kilometers later.

The service inaugurated the new land route for Dingxi's economic trade with Central Asia and Europe.
