China and Honduras signed a joint communique in Beijing on Sunday on the establishment of diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level, right after Honduras severed the so-called "diplomatic relations" with the Taiwan authorities. Julio Raudales, principal of José Cecilio del Valle University said that the one-China principle has legal effects.
