During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), China is constructing five major offshore wind power facilities, one each in the Beibu Gulf, the Yangtze River Delta, Shandong Province, Fujian Province and Guangdong Province. As of March 24, the offshore wind farm in Changyi City, Shandong Province had generated more than 200 million kWh. In February, construction began in Fujian Province on China's first large-scale 16-megawatt offshore wind turbine project.
