About 1,500 Colorado teachers and their supporters protested against gun violence at the State Capitol on Friday, after a 17-year-old Denver student shot two administrators, then fled to the mountains and killed himself. School shootings are becoming increasingly frequent in the U.S., and teachers at the rally expressed their concerns and called for better protections for students and school staff.
