Mass protests are taking place across Israel after prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu fires defense minister Yoav Gallant, as he urged a halt to a highly contested plan to overhaul the country's judicial system. Netanyahu wants to push through judicial reforms before the Knesset recess in April.
