The three-day China Development Forum (CDF) 2023 concluded in Beijing on Monday. This year's CDF has seen heavyweights from the international business community exchange views and discuss major issues concerning the development of China and the world. In an interview with CGTN host Tian Wei, Christian Mumenthaler, group chief executive officer of Swiss Re, said China has the biggest opportunity to help resolve the Russia-Ukraine crisis, and European countries expect China's wisdom to provide inspiration. For China's economy, he said that if the world were to hit a financial slump, China will be a motor to drive the world economy back on track.
