Julio Navarro, a well-known Honduran sociologist and political analyst said that the friendship between China and Honduras has a long history during an exclusive interview with CGTN.
"I think the Honduran president has taken a firm step to establish diplomatic relations with China, a major economy in the world and a country that has significant impact on the world's history, based on principles of respect for sovereignty, non-interference policies and policies consistent with human rights. We must clarify to those who disagree, the establishment of China-Honduras ties is not targeting anyone, or to conduct military strikes against other countries," said Navarro.
