How is Ukraine crisis "re-drawing the world map"

Speaking about the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and their impact on the world order, Martin Jacques, senior fellow at Cambridge University and the author of the global best-seller ‘When China Rules the World: the End of the Western World and the Birth of a New Global Order’, points out that while the Global South that represents most of the world’s population is not supporting American actions or joining the sanctions, having taken a similar position to China, the conflict is re-drawing the global map in a way that Europe and the U.S. are becoming a smaller part of the world than they were before.
