On Wednesday, Ma Ying-jeou, former chairman of the Kuomintang party visited the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders. He expressed deep condolence for the compatriots who lost their lives in the massacre. Ma is on a trip to the Chinese mainland, and has spent two days in his first stop of Nanjing, the capital of east China's Jiangsu Province. He commemorated Dr. Sun Yet-sen, founder of the Kuomintang party at his mausoleum on Tuesday.
