Inspired by the aesthetics of the East and the West, Hong Xue, an illustrator who grew up in a hutong (narrow alley) in Beijing, moved back to live in a hutong courtyard when she grew older. Her love for traditional Chinese arts and culture led her to organize tea appreciation gatherings with friends.
