Renowned economist Lin Yifu says that the U.S. cannot maintain its technological edge if it continues to decouple from China's tech sector. "China is now the largest market for many kinds of technological products. So if they do not share their technology products with China, they may turn from high profitability to low profitability, or even incur losses because of the high cost for the invention," said Lin.
