The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) is holding its 22nd meeting. Since its inception, it has witnessed China's rapid economic growth. Boao has been transformed from an obscure fishing village into an international exchange platform with Asian characteristics and global influence. The BFA has gradually shifted from a solely Asian to a more global focus. With the deepening ties between China and the rest of Asia, as well as with Europe and American countries, the BFA has become the most important platform for China to connect with the world, disseminate information with a Chinese voice on national reform and opening up, and for other countries to better understand China.
